Fashion apparel retailer Express, Inc. (NYSE: EXPR), announces the introduction of a new giving program called The Dream Big Project, hosts the Dream Big Virtual Summit this evening at 5:00 p.m. EST and establishes today as ‘Dream Big Day’.

The Dream Big Project will be an ongoing initiative and is powered by GoFundMe. Express will amplify the Dream Big Project across its marketing channels and through the GoFundMe partnership, engage customers to be a part of the initiative. For the launch, funds raised through brand and customer donations will benefit the GoFundMe Small Business Relief Fund to provide relief for entrepreneurs who have been impacted by the pandemic. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by the law and will go directly to the fund supported by GoFundMe.org, which provides matching micro-grants to qualifying small businesses. Later this fall, a group of Small Business Heroes will be selected by Express and highlighted across the Brand’s social and digital channels as well as given an additional donation to support their work.
In celebration of the launch of the Dream Big Project, Express has designated September 17th Dream Big Day and will showcase a number of inspiring small businesses through its social and digital channels. Express customers can get involved through online and in-store donations through December 31st and today only – in honor of Dream Big Day – the Company will match customer donations up to $50,000.
Dream Big Day will culminate with a virtual summit and fundraising event this evening at 5PM EST hosted by Express brand partner, fashion expert and TV personality, Tan France. This ticketed digital event will be open to the Express community and feature the cast of the Fall Campaign along with special guest speakers united by a shared passion for making a positive difference in the world, including: Brittany Xavier, Global Fashion Influencer; Brice Griffin, Comedic Actor; Dale Moss, Former Pro Athlete, Commentator & Philanthropist; Iskra, Entrepreneur, Model & Body Confidence Advocate; Jeannie Mai, Emmy Award Winning TV Host; Jonathan Bennett, Actor & Author; and more. The evening will offer workshops, panel discussions on topics such as driving thought leadership, navigating careers and tapping hidden potential, and brand giveaways. Proceeds from ticket sales benefit the GoFundMe Small Business Relief Fund.
