PRLog - Nov. 24, 2014 - Inverters for 230V mobile power systems get more efficient in harsh environments. The G3 Sine Wave Inverter series from Clayton Power gives full output power from -20°C to +50°C (-4°F to +122°F). This ensures a stable power supply unaffected by the environment.

The 12V to 230V/50Hz and 24V to 230V/50Hz inverters are designed to supply 2-3 times more power for shorter periods of high–peak consumption. Many machines and devices use significantly more power in start up than at any other point in operation, therefore the inverters have a smooth start-up technology which ensures the appliance gets started.

The inverter series also contains of a version with a combined inverter/charger series, where the flow can be reversed in a single compact unit, and thus also charge a battery bank. This offers several advantages for off-grid use including a built in UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) function.

The inverters and inverter/chargers are able to communicate with 12V/24V lithium ion batteries from Clayton Power and can therefore be incorporated into a complete lithium battery system for vans.
