Winston-Salem, NC (RestaurantNews.com) East Coast Wings & Grill announces the appointment of Whitney Royal as Unit Level Systems Analyst.
Royal, who most recently served as Supervisor of Franchisee Training & Education, and POS System Analyst, will be responsible for the tracking of the brands proprietary systems, policies, processes and procedures on unit level economics.
“We are delighted to appoint a brand veteran to this important position,” said Sam Ballas, CEO of East Coast Wings & Grill. “Whitney’s experience in East Coast Wings & Grill makes her a well-rounded and strategic part of our new Unit Level Economics division. Her abilities and unit level operations understanding will no doubt be an advantage for us as we continue our commitment to franchisee unit level economics.”
With 26 restaurants currently open and operating throughout North Carolina and Texas, the company will open 5 additional locations in 4 states in 2013 and plans call for adding 70-80 new locations across the country within the next few years.
Freddy Dupuy, Director of Unit Level Economics/ QA added, “Whitney has worked every aspect of our system over the last nine years. Over the last 5 years she has been engaged with our franchisees on a daily basis- she understands the brands philosophy of ‘ working from the outside in’, franchisee needs come first. Whitney will over see the data collection of our proprietary procedures which enable our franchisees to continue the current growth trajectory. I am delighted to have her in my division”
A seasoned professional with more than 9 years of experience, Royals’ career with East Coast Wings & Grill began at the ripe age of 17, when she started as a wait staff member and quickly moved into store mangement. Over the last five years, she worked her way up through the ranks in unit level General Management, brand training, POS system analyst and unit level on-going web based training coordinator.
“I am energized by the opportunity and look forward to working with the company leadership and our franchisee community to ensure East Coast Wings & Grill continues to be one of the strongest concepts known for unit level economics. Knowing my work effort will enhance a franchisees opportunity for better results is the ultimate win in a day,” said Royal, noting the company’s 38 consecutive quarters of same-store sales increases and brands focus on unit level EBITDA.
