The board of General Electric (GE) appears to be getting more bullish on the company’s stock. They’ve been reaching into their own pockets to buy some.
Alan Lafley bought 30,000 shares for $584,700 on Monday, according to a filing made public today, and Rochelle Lazarus bought 4,000 shares last week for $79,000. It’s the first time multiple insiders have bought stock within a week of each other since March 2009, according to InsiderScore.com. Lafley’s buy is the largest at the company in more than a year.
GE shares are down about 0.7% today.
