Cablevision (CVC) director Rand Araskog bought 25,000 shares in the company this week for about $356,000, the first insider buy at the company in almost three years. Araskog is the former CEO of ITT Corporation (ITT). he now owns 132,565 shares directly.
Cablevision shares fell 9.7% on Tuesday after the company reported a 47% drop in profit. Shares are trading down about 0.8% for the year.
Shares rose 1.2% in after-hours trading.
