The Timken Company (NYSE:TKR) today announced that it has entered into an aftermarket sales agency agreement with National Sales Inc. (NSI) of Ontario to represent its full line of bearings and related products to Canadian heavy-duty distributors.
This new engagement will help Timken to grow its business in Canada by reaching new customers, while offering enhanced services to its existing customer base. NSI is supported by a field sales force strategically located in major Canadian cities.
“NSI has relationships with the management of key Canadian aftermarket customers, including all levels of marketing and purchasing,” said Jim Eady, sales manager – automotive and heavy-duty aftermarkets for Timken. "We believe NSI's relationships will complement our current efforts in a market where we see strong potential for growth."
Each member of NSI's management team has more than 25 years experience in the automotive and heavy-duty market segments.
